A case report of combined aesthetic diagnosis and treatment of adult concave deformity

Abstract: The non-surgical treatment of adult concave deformity can be achieved by interdisciplinary solution, which includes condylar relocation, fixed orthodontic, and functional occlusion smile design anterior prosthesis. In this study, an adult patient with concave deformity were treated by maxillary occlusal splint, conventional fixed brackets, and upper anterior teeth porcelain veneers to lead mandibular condyle to centric relation, to correct the dental arches for functional occlusion, and to gain the final desired esthetic achievement after treatments.
