Multiple myeloma with oral amyloidosis: report of a case and literature review

Abstract: [SummaryMultiple myeloma is the most common type of multifocal plasma cell proliferation in the bone marrow, whereas cases with multiple amyloidosis of oral cavity are rarely documented. Clinically, the disease is easily miss- diagnosed and mistreated due to lack of specificity. This article reported a rare case with multiple myeloma and amyloidosis of tongue, gingiva, buccal mucosa, followed by a review of relevant literature.
