矫治装置在儿童牙间隙恢复中的应用效果评价

Application of orthodontic device in restoring teeth space in children

摘要: 目的:探讨采用活动和固定矫治装置治疗儿童牙间隙丧失的效果。方法:随机使用活动或固定矫治装置对25例牙间隙丧失的患者进行恢复间隙的治疗,比较2种方法的优缺点。采用SPSS 22软件包对数据进行统计学处理。结果:25例患者中,乳牙列期为2例,替牙列期为23例。使用活动矫治装置有13例,使用局部固定式矫治装置有12例。18例成功,3例有效,4例失败。采用Fisher精确概率法,对活动间隙扩大矫正器和局部固定式间隙扩大矫正器的成功率进行比较,活动组和固定组成功例数各为9例,成功率无显著差异(P=0.68)。间隙恢复最快3个月,最慢11个月。结论:采用活动和固定矫治装置恢复丧失的牙间隙,效果良好,是临床上一种比较简单、快捷、经济的儿童早期矫治方法。

Abstract: PURPOSE: To assess the effect of removable and fixed orthodontic device in restoring teeth space loss in children. METHODS: Removable or fixed orthodontic device was used randomly to restore teeth space loss in 25 children, the advantages and disadvantages between the two methods were compared. SPSS 22 software package was used for data analysis. RESULTS: Among 25 cases, 2 had deciduous dentition and 23 had mixed dentition, removable and fixed orthodontic device was used in 13 and 12 cases, respectively. Finally 18 cases achieved success, 3 cases were improved and 4 were failed. Fisher's exact test was used to compare the success rates of active and local fixed appliance to enlarge interdental space. The success cases of active and fixed appliance were 9, respectively. There was no significant difference between the two methods (P=0.68). Within these cases, the fastest restoring time was 3 months and the slowest restoring time was 11 months. CONCLUSIONS: It is an ideal method to restore teeth space with removable or fixed orthodontic device. It is a simple, fast and economic method for early orthodontic treatment for children.
